Breeders: Peter and Ella Eva

Darchy, DiddyMan, Diddles came to live in Wiltshire at eight weeks old and just slotted in with our other dogs and one cat. Nothing ever fazes him and as a puppy he was a very easy going, chilled out boy who took everything in his stride. He has grown into a real gentlemen and greets everyone like a long, lost friend, wagging his whole body from the tip of his nose to his tail. He started his show career with a bang when going best of breed at his very first show on his six month birthday, beating a champion at the same time. He was handled by me [I was also competing at my very first show] and was crowned best puppy in breed at the British Manchester Terrier Club Champion Show at the age of eight months. Darchy is such a confident little man that he will go in the ring with anyone and has won with junior handlers and strangers on the end of his lead. He is a very important part of the Mansiya breeding plans and throws his steady temperament on to his puppies.

Lily, Dotty, Dolly Dot, Teapot, Wally Wot lives in Wiltshire with her mum, Shelby and was originally going to fly back to America for a showing career. A change of plan meant that she has stayed this side of the pond and is now part of the Mansiya show team. She is a mini-me of her mother, naturally confident and outgoing and very agile. At her first ever show, poor Dot got bowled over by two Afghans who jumped out of the back of a car and landed on her, snapping her lead, yet she still marched into the ring, won best puppy then came second in the puppy group. The following weekend, she went puppy group 2 at South Wales under Ann Arch then won best minor puppy at the BMTC Champion Show. She won her first reserve ticket under Malcolm Abbott, a breed specialist, at National Dog and won her second under Paul Wilkinson. Dolly Dot is also responsible for a lot of white hairs on my and Mandy’s heads when she did a disappearing act while staying with Mandy in Cornwall. After spending six nights under the stars, Mandy’s husband Nick managed to catch Dolly who was very relieved to see him. She had a few lumps and bumps and some lodgers but otherwise was a very fit Manchester. Dolly is a big part of our breeding plans and we are very excited at the prospect of having puppies from her in the future.

Breeders: Stewart and Carol Morris

Bronte, BoBoBear, Bowley, Bobo joined the Mansiya Team in September last year. Her dad is the litter brother of Dolly Dot and her mum is from the famous Brookstream kennels and mother of the Crufts winning duo of Ch Calastoa Amber Nectar and Ch Calastoa Ruby Tuesday. Being a bigger framed girl, Bobo has taken her time to mature and has only been shown very lightly. She has a super kind nature, a true dark almond eye, beautiful outline and wonderful head. We will continue to show Bo lightly this year and hope to do more with her next year as she matures. Bo has a lot to offer our future breeding plans and we are very grateful to Stewart and Carol, her breeders, for allowing her to join our team.
