Shelby is an American Champion Manchester Terrier who won well in America and finished her career by winning best opposite sex at the big Eukanuba invitation only show, where only the top 25 dogs in each breed are invited to attend. Shelby is the result of much hard work and thought by her breeder , Kimberle Schiff, is of all standard Manchester breeding and has absolutely no toy Manchesters in her pedigree whatsoever. The majority of her pedigree is Salutaire, a very famous kennel in America along the lines of the Keyline kennel here in England. Shelby has plenty of bone, the most wonderful true movement and superb conformation. Unfortunately as is the practice in America, Shelby has had her ears cropped and is therefore banned from being shown here in England. Shelby flew in with Dixie and made herself straight at home. As long as there is food in her bowl then Shelby is a happy girl. She is naturally confident and happy to meet friends and total strangers alike. In 2009 she had seven puppies, two boys and five girls to Ch Calastoa Amber Nectar and was an absolutely brilliant mother. Three of the puppies have done well in the show ring here in England and one little boy is doing well in the ring in America. In 2010, Shelby had a second litter, this time with Darchy, and produced two girls and four boys. We are hoping that at least three of them will be shown, two here in England and one little boy is off to America to fly the British flag.
